Waldemar Vroegop captured the close encounter during a visit to Cape Town, South Africa. The 22-year-old took a GoPro out with him to film a fellow surfer, but ended up with incredible footage of the dolphins' antics. The giant pod of sea mammals followed the pair for more than an hour between Sunset Beach and Robben Island, regularly pulling off acrobatic leaps. And while dolphins normally steer clear of kiteboarders, these ones were happy to show off their spectacular swimming prowess.
